About Wagging Tails

Established in early 2007 Wagging Tails was set up to offer dog owners an alternative to traditional kennels.

Having grown up around and cared for friends and family's dogs we could see for ourselves the benefits of home dog boarding. Seeing how content the dogs were in our care, not to mention how relaxed the owners were, we decided this should be a service available to all dogs and their owners. With demand for our services high it soon became apparent that we would need to find like minded carers to join our family.

From the start we felt it was essential that our carers were very experienced dog owners who were at home all day and could devote their love and attention to the dogs in their care. We also felt it was better for the dogs that our carers boarded just one family's dogs at a time. Most important to us was to ensure that the owners, their dogs and the carer meet prior to the holiday. Our owners have told us this gives them the greatest reassurance, knowing where their best friend will be spending its holiday having had what we call a "Sniffing Out Meeting"!!!

Our Aim is to ensure that owners can go away safe in the knowledge that their dogs are being loved and cared for and for all dogs boarding with Wagging Tails Carers to get a holiday of their own, full of love, exercise and those all important cuddles!
