We are so very lucky to have found Lisa, Jim, Izzie and Bailey at Wagging Tails!

We initially used them for our 7 year old Golden Retriever, Libby, and it was a delight to see just how happy she was with them. She had never stayed with anyone other than a family member before, and so it was a big step for her. Libby is now always so excited to go and stay there, and we can go away content that she is having the very best of care and love and attention, in a real home environment.

Now we have a second Golden Retriever, Monty - a 4 month old who is full of beans, and both dogs have been welcomed with open arms into the Wagging Tails household, for which we are truly grateful.

Libby and Monty both returned from their recent stay happy and well looked after. They had both so obviously enjoyed the doggy company of Izzie and Bailey, as well as the all important superb care and attention given by Lisa and Jim.

I would recommend Wagging Tails to anyone who cares about their dogs. Such care and attention to detail is hard to find elsewhere. A big thank you to Lisa and Jim! ( and Izzie and Bailey! )

My two dogs Oscar and Gracie would like to thank Sue and Steve for such a wonderful weekend holiday. I haven't had Gracie for long and she has had a few homes in her short life and so I was apprehensive about how she would find being away from home. I shouldn't have worried, she and Oscar instantly took to Sue and Steve the moment they met them and they were so friendly and lovely that I knew I wouldn't have any worries leaving them there. Both dogs settled really quickly with them and ate all their food (which is a big thing for both of them) and it shows how relaxed they were there as when they came home, they didn't go to sleep they just wanted to know when I was going to give them their dinner! It is such a relief to know that if I need to go away my pair will be in such a wonderful pair of hands. Thank you so much from all of us! Oscar and Gracie are already looking forward to their next holiday!

Dear Lisa,

When I last took Fred to Sandy he nearly knocked us over trying to get through the door. He was so pleased to see Sandy and is so relaxed with her. We have only had him for 2 years but he has been through a lot having had two operations and at about 8 years old having to learn how to behave the right way with other dogs. The first time he went to Sandy and Paul's seemed to help in so many ways . It is so nice to have somewhere with people who are 100 percent in tune with Fred so when we go away we have no worries and he has a holiday too!

Dear Lisa,

We would all like to say a huge thank you to you all at Wagging Tails for enabling us to have a fantastic time at Lymington! When we first heard that we couldn't have Murdock staying with us in our accomodation we were very disappointed and were sad that he would miss out on all the fun and great walks in the New Forest! But thanks to Wagging Tails it was possible for us all to have a lovely easter break!

Murdock had a wonderful time at Margarets and definitely settled straight in as if 'home from home'! Margaret was very kind and caring and we felt at ease straight away! We could pick him up and drop him off as and when and even if he was a bit dirty he was groomed overnight and all soft and fluffy again when we picked him uo the next day! He went to the local shop and met lots of Margaret's friends, relatives and neighbours and she said everyone he met loved him! Margaret was also very knowledgable about where to go in the area and even gave us a map one day! We would definitely use Wagging Tails again and we can't say thank you enough!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Eva and Chris.  We were really worried about leaving Marley as he is only 7 months, but he has had a fantastic time.  Eva and Chris are such friendly, genuine people after spending an hour with her during our "sniffing out" visit I knew he would be ok with them. We returned to collect Marley and he seemed totally settled in their home and although he was pleased to see us, I don't think he would have minded staying there a lot longer!

I would highly recommend Eva and Chris, although I think we will end up booking up years in advance, they are such gems.

Millie was very pleased to see Carol and George for her second holiday with them.

The first stay was just for a weekend two or three weeks before her 'proper' holiday.  She charged in and gave the ground floor a quick check to ensure that all was as she had left it!  By the time Carol and I had sorted out relevant paperwork, and Millie's suitcase and bed were all in situ' she was relaxing on 'her chair' with George in the conservatory. Her social life had apparently been quite hectic with family parties and BBQs so coming home was a bit of an anticlimax; but not to worry, she has another holiday booked with Carol and George in September.

Thanks a million Carol and George for looking after Millie so very well, it is such a relief to go on holiday knowing she is settled and happy.

Thank you for your kind letter and the photos of Ziggy and Poppy on their holiday with Gillian.
 
Please pass on our thanks to her and her family. The dogs seemed to have enjoyed their holiday as much as we did! It is so much more pleasant to leave them with kind people who will spoil them as we do. I used to walk away feeling guilty about going away on holiday and leaving them in kennels where I knew they were not really happy.
 
Both Ziggy and Poppy have come home happy, relaxed and not at all stressed, which is wonderful. Both the last board with Gillian and her family and the previous one with Sheila and Ben were completely sucessful.

We hate the idea of leaving Amber our (now 20 month old) German Shepherd in kennels.  She is such a loving dog who likes to be around people (and other dogs!) and the idea of her being shut up for a long period is not something we would entertain.

We were delighted to discover Wagging Tails which we have now used on 3 occasions for short breaks and long holidays. Our thanks go to Lisa & Jim, Pete & Gill and Ron & Wendy for looking after Amber so well.

On every occasion, Amber has enjoyed her holiday as much as we have enjoyed ours. She seems to settle really quickly (the “sniffing out” meeting is a great idea) and has clearly enjoyed some fabulous walks in places she wouldn’t normally get to. She always returns happy and exhausted with some great holiday photo’s (another nice touch).

We would highly recommend Wagging Tails and their great network of carers.

Hi Lisa,

Thank you for linking us up with Eva Perry and her husband Chris.

Cara had a wonderful few days with her and was reluctant to come away. Obviously all the love and attention that was lavished upon Cara, not to mention tummy tickles, paid dividends. I know from her whole demenour that she had a wonderful time, as did we in Paris knowing that Cara was being well looked after. I would have no hesitation in placing Cara with Eva again.

Just a quick word of thanks for organising the boarding of 'the girls' Lela and Sasha with Chris and Alan. This was the first time they had been away from us and Lela cried the first night - but they quickly settled in and had a lovely time.

I am so relieved that they will be well looked after when we go on holiday in September.
